SOUL Karate

We hope that everyone enjoyed a safe and relaxing start to the New Year! Classes have resumed at the New York Irish Center in LIC. We had a great turn out for the first class on January 8, 2014 and are looking forward to seeing everyone again next week.

We’re also very excited to announce that we have now secured mats for the classes at the New York Irish Center in LIC! In addition to creating an even safer environment, the introduction of mats to karate class allows students to engage in a greater variety of exercises, like rolling and wrestling. To keep our mats in good condition, and clean and dry for the students’ bare feet, please remember there are no shoes allowed on the mats.

We’re excited to be wrapping up our first full session at the NY Irish Center. There are two classes remaining for the Fall. If you have not signed up and would like to try a class before registering for the Winter or Spring sessions, feel free to drop in. The drop in class is $20 cash only.
